Waterborne Diseases and need for Water filtration plants

Waterborne diseases are a major health concern in Pakistan, with an estimated 40% of all reported diseases attributed to drinking polluted water.

Water is a source of many diseases including diarrhoea, typhoid, intestinal worms, and hepatitis. The crisis has further aggravated disease outbreaks, including acute watery diarrhoea, dengue fever, malaria, polio, and COVID-19, particularly in camps and where water and sanitation facilities have been damaged.

With your support Abbas Foundation can provide water filtration plants to deprived communities to prevent  waterborne diseases.
